HTS Heat Medium Equipment

HTS (inorganic molten salt heat medium) is difficult to handle due to its high melting point of 142 °C.
We have developed HTS heat medium equipment that is easier to handle by lowering the melting point with our unique
"water dilution technology." (Patent registered)
HTS can be used in a wide range of temperatures, from 300 to 550 °C.
We offer the HTS heat medium equipment best suited to your needs based on our extensive know-how based on years of experience.

What is HTS (Heat Transfer Salt)?

HTS is a nitrate-based molten salt heat transfer medium, commonly known as sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate, and potassium nitrate.
Although each of the constituents is classified as a hazardous material, HTS is processed into briquettes and is therefore not classified as a hazardous material.

Water Dilution Technology

Our proprietary "water dilution technology" has made our heat-transfer medium system easier to handle
than conventional HTS.
By adding the appropriate amount of water (15 wt%) to HTS, the melting point can be significantly lowered
from 142°C to 70°C.
